Each Player Earns Jersey Mike’s Naismith First-Team All-America Selections

Atlanta (February 18, 2025) – The Atlanta Tipoff Club today announced the five finalists for the 2025 Jersey Mike’s Naismith High School Girls Player of the Year and the Jersey Mike’s Naismith High School Girls Coach of the Year honors.

“This season has showcased the incredible talent in high school girls’ basketball,” said Eric Oberman, president of the Atlanta Tipoff Club. “These players and coaches represent the pinnacle of achievement in their sport, and selecting winners from this exceptional group will be a formidable challenge for our voters.”

All five Player of the Year finalists are also named Jersey Mike’s Naismith first-team All-America selections. The consensus top two players in the country lead the list.

Aaliyah Chavez, a senior guard from Monterey High School in Lubbock, Texas, has led her team to No. 1 in the state as they enter the postseason. A finalist for the award last year, she’s the top-ranked player in the 2025 class. UCLA commit Sienna Betts, a senior forward from Aurora, Colo., has been a dominant force for Grandview High School, leading her team to a national top 25 ranking.

Rounding out the finalists are USC-commit Jasmine “Jazzy” Davidson, a senior guard from Clackamas, Ore., who has been instrumental in Clackamas High School’s success and top 10 national ranking. The following are from the top two schools in the nation as of mid-February. Sophomore point guard Kaleena Smith from Ontario, Calif., Christian has led her team to the No. 1 ranking, while junior guard Saniyah Hall’s Montverde Academy in Florida is ranked No. 2.

All five Coach of the Year finalists are making their first appearance on this prestigious list. Two schools have coaches and players on each list.

Aundre Cummings has led his Ontario, Calif., Christian team to the nation’s No. 1 ranking as of mid-February while Korey Landolt’s Clackamas, Ore., High School team is ranked No. 8.

The other finalists have led their teams to top 10 seasons, led by Mater Dei’s, Calif., High School’s Jody Wynn, who has her team ranked No. 3. Ron James of Bishop McNamara’s, Md., High School is at No. 4 as of mid-February while Morris Catholic, N.J. High School’s Rahim Huland El’s team is ranked 10th.

Thursday, March 6, followed by the Jersey Mike’s Naismith High School Girls Trophy winner on
Friday, March 7.
